Texas Holdem – When First in the Pot, Raise
Players who only raise with their premium hands and limp in with their suited connectors and small pocket pairs are giving away too much information. Once I identify a player who uses this tactic, I will almost always raise when they limp in, as most of the time they are going to fold. If I raise with 6-5 suited and with A-A, I very effectively conceal the strength of my hand.
