Psychology: Timing of Bets
I try to always take about the same amount of time to consider my options and take action on a hand. Not too fast, not too slow.
I will occasionally be faced with a difficult decision that requires me to think a little longer. I’ll take the time I need, of course, but will be acutely aware that my departure from the norm has provided my opponent with information about the strength of my hand.
